PTE Classes in Faridabad at IMA

If you are looking for PTE classes in Faridabad, IMA (International Multilingual Academy) provides them. PTE Academic is an English test accepted by many universities and for some immigration purposes, and it is taken on a computer. Because the test is scored by software and tests all four skills together, preparing for its specific format matters as much as general English.

What IMA's PTE Classes Cover

• Preparation for all four skills tested in PTE Academic: speaking, writing, reading and listening.
• Practice with the question types used in the test, so that you know the format before you sit it.
• Full-length PTE-style mock tests and section-wise practice, with feedback on where you lose marks.
• Strategy for time management on a computer-based test.

Course Length

IMA's PTE course page lists two programmes: a 4-week crash programme for students who already have a good base in English, and a 6-week standard programme. A counsellor will assess your current level and suggest the one that fits your test date.

Who Is It For?

• Students planning to study abroad whose chosen university accepts PTE Academic.
• Professionals preparing an immigration or skilled migration application where PTE is accepted.
• Anyone who prefers a computer-based test to a face-to-face speaking test.

Check that your university, employer or immigration authority accepts PTE Academic and which score it requires, because requirements differ. Our PTE and IELTS comparison can help you decide which test suits you.

Which PTE Test Do You Need? Study, Work or Immigration

PTE is a family of tests, not one test. Pearson's own guide lists these, and the right one depends on your purpose and country:

• PTE Academic: for study abroad and for visa applications to Australia and New Zealand. This is the test IMA's classes are built around.
• PTE Academic UKVI: for work visas and for study below degree level at non-degree-awarding institutions in the UK. It is the same test as PTE Academic, with a Unique Reference Number for UK visa processes.
• PTE Core: for Canadian permanent residency and citizenship applications through IRCC.
• PTE Home (A1, A2, B1): two-skills tests for UK family, settlement and citizenship purposes.

Taking the wrong version can mean your result is not accepted, so confirm the exact test name with your university or immigration authority before you book.

PTE Test Fee in India (2026)

Sources differ on the exact amount, so check the current figure on Pearson's booking page before you pay. Published 2026 figures for India include GST and are about ₹18,000 to ₹18,900 for PTE Academic, PTE Academic UKVI and PTE Core, and about ₹15,300 for PTE Home tests. One source reports an increase from ₹18,000 to ₹18,900 effective 16 March 2026, while another still lists ₹18,000, so treat the fee as changing and confirm it at booking.

• Rescheduling: reported to be free if you reschedule at least 14 full calendar days before the test date, and charged at 50% of the fee for 8 to 13 days before. Rescheduling is not permitted within 7 days.
• Cancellation: reported as a full refund 14 or more days before, 50% for 8 to 13 days before, and no refund within 7 days or for a no-show.
• Score review: a separate fee of around ₹14,750 is reported, refunded if your score changes.

The test fee is paid to the test provider and is separate from coaching. IMA's course fee is available from the branch.

Rules and Score Requirements by Country

PTE score requirements are set by each university, employer or immigration authority, not by PTE. Here is what we could verify, and what you must check yourself:

• Australia (study and migration): Pearson says PTE Academic is accepted for all Australian visa categories and by Australian universities. For a standard Student visa, Pearson's student visa guide lists at least 50 in each of the four components, or at least 36 in each component if you take an ELICOS English course before your main course. The Department of Home Affairs updated its English requirements and test versions from 7 August 2025, and the published scores depend on the test version and date, so check Home Affairs for the exact figures for your visa. Skilled migration has separate Competent, Proficient and Superior levels that also earn points. Results are generally valid for two years for Australian visa purposes, and the Department only accepts tests taken in person at a secure test centre.
• Canada (permanent residency): IRCC accepts PTE Core, not PTE Academic, for Express Entry and citizenship. IRCC converts your PTE Core scores to Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels using its published table, so check that table for the level your application needs. For study at Canadian universities, each university sets its own English requirement and many accept PTE Academic.
• United Kingdom: PTE Academic UKVI is the version for UK work visas and for study below degree level at non-degree-awarding institutions. Universities set their own English requirements for degree study, so confirm the test and score with each one.
• New Zealand: Pearson states that PTE is accepted by Immigration New Zealand and by New Zealand universities. Check the score each one requires.
• Other countries and universities: scores vary by university and by course. Look at each university's international admissions page for the exact PTE Academic overall and minimum section scores.

About the Test Itself

IMA provides coaching for PTE. The test is booked and taken through the official PTE test provider at an approved test centre, so book your test date there. IMA is not a test centre, and we help you prepare for the exam and plan the date.
